Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Here's what matters

  • Orune uses cookies only for authentication (keeping you signed in).
  • We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or behavioral tracking.
  • No third-party tracking cookies are placed.
  • You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as whether you are signed in.

2. How Orune Uses Cookies

Orune uses cookies for one purpose: authentication. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Clerk) sets session cookies to keep you logged in as you navigate the platform.

These cookies are:

  • Strictly necessary: required for the platform to function. Without them, you would need to sign in on every page.
  • Session-based: they expire when you sign out or after a period of inactivity.
  • First-party only: set by Orune and Clerk, not by any third-party advertising or analytics service.

3. Cookies We Do Not Use

Orune does not use:

  • Advertising or marketing cookies.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • Social media tracking cookies.
  • Fingerprinting or cross-site tracking technologies.

4. Score Tool (No Account Required)

When you use the AI Risk Score tool without creating an account, no cookies are placed. The score tool operates without any cookies, tracking pixels, or persistent identifiers.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that if you disable or delete authentication cookies, you will be signed out and will need to sign in again on your next visit.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce new types of cookies in the future, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. We will not add advertising or analytics cookies without clearly communicating that change.
